Chiefs win seventh straight in boys soccer (Daily Gate City)

The Keokuk Chiefs won their seventh straight boys soccer game, defeating Washington 5-1 Thursday in a Southeast Conference contest at Calvert Stadium.

Jamin Klose scored three goals, while Austin West added two goals and an assist to pace the Chiefs. Jarrett Johnston, Andrew Patterson and Brendan Plate each finished with one assist.

Goal keeper Isaac Dunlap made nine saves.

Keokuk, 7-3 overall and 6-0 in the conference, plays at Central Lee Thursday.
