Keokuk stops Washington in girls soccer (Daily Gate City)

WASHINGTON — The Keokuk Chiefs shut out Washington 6-0 in a Southeast Conference girls soccer match Thursday.

McKenna Tackes had two goals and two assists to lead Keokuk. Skyler Johnston added two goals and an assist. McKenzie Northup contributed one goal and one assist. Kacie Mitchell scored a goal, and Maggie Meyers finished with an assist.

Goal keeper Aryn Kindig had the shutout for the Chiefs.

Keokuk is 6-2 overall and 4-1 in the conference. The Chiefs play at Mid-Prairie Friday.
